We will hike to picturesque picnic spots, out of the way swimming holes, magnificent overlooks or to the very top of Vermont. You decide which itinerary is the perfect fit for you.
You will feel comfortable and safe, knowing that your guides have hiked the trail in the past and have all the necessary maps, guidebooks and trail descriptions for the area you have chosen to hike. No worries about getting lost or twisted and your guides are all Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified.

Guided Backpacking with Hikeu
 Hikeu backpacking treks are designed with your desires and safety in mind! We offer anything from a quick weekend trip to a complete end-to-end of the Long Trail. You decide how much time you wish to spend on Trail!
Our daily distance and pace will depend on the group’s desire. The experienced guides at Hikeu will teach you the very important Leave No Trace principles, show you how to feel safe, comfortable and secure in the backcountry. Because your guides each have over 5000 miles of long-distance hiking under their belts, you will learn the “how-tos” of backpacking from experts.
Allow us to take the worry out of your backpacking trip. First time with a backpack on? No worries! Our patient and experienced guides will show you the ropes. Been backpacking for a while but interested in gaining deeper knowledge to make life on the trail more enjoyable? Spend a week with Hikeu and discover how they have happily traversed thousands of miles on the most strenuous trails in America. Hikeu has something to offer everyone, even the more experienced backpacker.

Hikeu will be offering one End-to-End trek of the Long Trail this hiking season. We plan to depart from the Massachusetts border during the first week of September and take about four weeks to complete this 270-mile trek. This trip will happen with a minimum of two and a maximum of six hikers. Gather your own group or plan on making some great new trail friends.
